The decision to use deadstock for production depends on the quantities of garments. Each new Broke Clothing collection consists of limited pieces because the amounts of deadstock fabric are limited and out of production, so each item is unique and unrepeatable. For this reason, we take care of the entire production process at a tailoring level, to offer high-quality garments that ensure strength and durability over time, which have always characterized Broke Clothing.

All products are entirely handmade in Italy by Italian artisans. The collection aims to capture the style expressed by Broke Clothing™ during the early 2000s, offering the market a product with historical lines reinterpreted in a modern key.

Broke Clothing does not commission the production of new material; each product is made using deadstock: rolls of high-quality experimental fabrics intended for major brands, remnants of production excess. Broke Clothing takes on the task of not wasting these precious fabrics and giving them the life they deserve through indestructible handmade pieces with a unique style.

For the production of Broke Clothing items, energy consumption is minimal, with the use of deadstock resulting in direct emissions from Broke being equal to 0; the only consumption comes from packaging and transportation exclusively within the region.

The labels of each garment are printed on paper made from industrial waste. The paper undergoes no treatment other than printing, thus minimizing environmental impact and industrial waste.

"Ours is a so-called short supply chain, each piece is entirely handmade by Italian artisans. The cutting of the fabrics takes place in our workshop, located right next to our showroom. Once the fabric is cut, it is taken to be sewn in artisan workshops less than a couple of hours' drive from our headquarters. Here it is hand-stitched and once ready, it returns to our headquarters where the final customizations are applied;"
